Privacy Policy

Elevome LLC ("Elevome," "we," or "us") is a Minnesota limited liability company that helps small and mid-size businesses build AI-powered systems. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit elevome.com or get in touch, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We serve clients in the United States. This site is not directed to people in the European Union or the United Kingdom, and we do not offer our services there.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, we collect the details you choose to share — your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the message you write. We only ask for what we need to reply and help you.

Information collected automatically. Our website host records standard server logs — things like browser type, device, referring page, and an approximate location derived from your IP address — for security, troubleshooting, and reliability. We do not use these logs to build a profile of you, and we run no analytics, advertising, or tracking software on this site.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss whether we can help.
• To provide, deliver, and support any work you engage us for.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations where required.

About your phone number. If you give us one, we use it only to reply to your enquiry. We will not add you to a marketing list, send you automated or promotional text messages, or pass your number to anyone else for their own marketing.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we don't send marketing emails you didn't ask for.

Who we share it with

We keep the list of companies that touch your information short:

• Netlify — hosts this website and processes contact form submissions, which are delivered to us by email and stored in our Netlify account. See Netlify's privacy policy.
• Our email and file storage providers — used to correspond with you and to keep project records.

These providers process your information on our behalf under their own security and confidentiality obligations, and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where we need to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't become projects — up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Client records, contracts, and invoices — 7 years after the engagement ends, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
• Website server logs — kept by our host on their standard schedule, typically a matter of weeks.

You can ask us to delete your details sooner, and we will unless the law requires us to keep a particular record.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't charge you for asking, and we won't treat you differently because you did.

Depending on your state you may have additional rights under laws such as the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act. We're a small business and most of those laws don't apply to us by their own terms, but we honour the requests above for everyone regardless.

Children's privacy

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any comparable service. Your browser may store what's strictly necessary for the site to load, and our host may set a cookie to keep the site secure. Because we use no optional cookies, there's no consent banner to click.

If that ever changes, we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information: we use reputable providers, request only the access a given system actually needs, and limit who can see your data to the people working on your project. No method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we'll notify you as required by Minnesota and federal law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we'll say so clearly on this page.
